In May of 2012 Kenny and I welcomed our baby girl, Lucy Grace. Lucy was diagnosed with Spina Bifida when I was 20 weeks pregnant. Like many other families our experience was difficult and painful to talk about in the beginning. I have attempted to document our journey with SB so our family and friends can stay informed. Although we had some serious medical challenges in the first few months, Spina Bifida does not define our daughter or our family. Kenny and I are so lucky to have two kids we adore. This is our life with a 7 yr old and an infant....with an SB twist!

4D Ultrasound

We went for our latest ultrasound today and got some new pictures of our little Noah. I think he's going to be Daddy's little twin!

Our little kicker...

This little boy has some feet! They say you can tell the personality of a baby by the way he acts in the womb. If that's true we are in for quite the workout with this kid!

Noah's first (noticeable) movements!

At first I really wasn't sure if it was the baby or not but now that it happens all the time I realize he is quite active. It really does feel like butterflies in your stomach. Just a light little vibration or buzzing. It's so weird to think there's a little person in there kicking around!!

Baby Makes Three

My ultrasound yesterday revealed we are going to have a baby boy! We decided we needed a place to share with our loved ones as our family grows to three. Here he is, our little Noah Michael!
